During the final session of the Bookbinding Workshop led by Vjosa Maxhuni, the participants designed their own book covers which they incorporated onto the stitched books from the previous week. We also learned how to trim our books manually.
During the second session of the Bookbinding Workshop led by Vjosa Maxhuni, we worked on sewing and gluing our books. We found creative ways to exert weight on our works in progress.
Throwback to Bookbinding Workshop Day 1:
For the last couple of weeks, we hosted the Bookbinding Workshop that was led by Vjosa Maxhuni. During our first session we learned the first steps of bookbinding. We learned how to use different tools, from bone folders to awls, and we separated our book into signatures to be stitched and glued in the next session.
We apologize to participants waitlisted due to high demand. We are working to set up new dates for the second round of workshops.
