Throwback to our collaboration with Sekhmet Institute for “Recycling as an Artistic Practice” workshop, in November 2025. We were super happy to contribute with storytelling modules alongside great artists like Renea Begolli’s art module and Lumturie Krasniqi’s papermaking module.

During our first session we brainstormed ideas for potential stories that played on the theme of , recycling, ecology, and other environmental topics. We also experimented beyond content and focused on different literary forms that could frame these stories. Participants came up with amazing ideas that could accompany their upcoming conceptual artworks (during Renea’s sessions) on papers that they themselves created (during Lumturie’s sessions).

During our second session we continued with a new set of writing exercises and gave feedback on each others stories for further refinement. The resulting works were exhibited at Sekhmet Project Space.
